Mon, Dec 12- gr 7/8 vaccinations
Tues Dec 13- SAC pot luck meeting, 6:30pm, Free childcare is provided – please let us know if you are in need!
Wed, Dec 14 – Hot Lunch: JKSK, gr 3, 3/4C, 5-8 (holiday meal! Servers are needed!!!)
Thurs, Dec 15 – Hot Lunch: JKSK, gr 1, 2, 2/3 & 4 (holiday meal! Servers are needed!!!!)

Parent’s Day out vendors!

I can hardly wait to check off some people on my Christmas list at the upcoming event! This will be our second annual shopping day at the school (in the gym) from 11-2 on Nov 19th. There will be some door prizes to be won as well!

Friday – cross country meet
Also on Friday is hot lunch for the JKSK’s and grades 1, 2 (Mme Bain’s 2/3 split) and the grade 4′s. As a reminder, due to the new nutritional guidelines and to make it more affordable for more children we are only serving the main dish. Friday we are serving all you can eat pasta for $3. Oh, and if you can remember – bring a reusable container so you can bring home your leftovers! If you are able to assist serving the hot lunch please let your teacher know – we can use assistance starting at 11:45 – 1pm.

Welcome to our third week!

Tues: Parent council meeting (SAC) at 6:30pm. There is free childcare – just let us know if you will be bringing your children so that we know our numbers.

Thurs: Meet the teacher night starting at 4:30pm. The menu from past years has changed – due to limited numbers of volunteers we will be serving bowls of chili and buns, chips and pop. There will also be t-shirts available ($10 ea).

On a side note, we will have our first hot lunch next week. If you are available to assist in serving please let your teacher know, email us, or call Julie McKellar. We will be serving speghetti this month. Julie is also looking for ideas for meals, so if you have a suggestion please let her know!
